Jennie Williams is a Medical Illustrator and Animator. She specializes in hand and Photoshop-rendered tone and color illustration and 3D modeling and animation. Her work has been published in various medical journals and textbooks since 2011, previously under her maiden name, Jennie Swensen.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing from the University of Utah and later earned a Master of Arts degree in Biomedical Communications from the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas. Since that time she has worked for a small, local company doing 3D marketing animations for medical device companies. She has also worked closely with almost every neurosurgeon at the University of Utah and Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, providing them with supplemental images for various presentations and medical articles.
Jennie lives just outside of scenic Salt Lake City with her husband and two kids. She doesn't get much time off but when she does, she enjoys going to concerts, finding new places to eat, and running.
